Austin Christian
Austin has over a decade’s worth of services, operations, leadership, and training experience in companies such as Apple, Yahoo!, and NWEA.
During his most recent company (NWEA) Austin scaled NWEA’s support team to support 4 products and 8 unique programs across US school districts. To accomplish this task Austin worked with folks such as Justin Hayward to develop comprehensive training programs that leveraged adult learning theories, agile solution development, and neuroscience techniques to maximize knowledge retention and adjust solutions quickly to meet stakeholder needs.

Throughout his career, Justin has held various positions in sales, customer success, training management, people leadership, and project management. These roles have equipped him with a profound understanding of effectively engaging adult learners, spanning from the discovery phase to the development and delivery of training.
During his tenure at NWEA, Justin collaborated closely with Austin to navigate the challenges posed by the pandemic and concentrated their efforts on designing and delivering highly effective training in virtual environments. By leveraging the principles of andragogy to create engaging content for adult learners, Austin and Justin spearheaded training initiatives that encompassed comprehensive onboarding programs and iterative product training for NWEA's Product Support teams through virtual mediums. As a result of these initiatives, employee preparedness and retention significantly improved, enabling NWEA's support teams to consistently meet or exceed industry standard KPIs.
